Arriving by bus

There is a frequent [20min] bus service from Plymouth Bus Station and Royal Parade to Saltash. Get off the bus at the first stop after crossing the Tamar Bridge. Walk back towards the bridge, continuing straight down the narrow and very steep road [about mile] towards the water. You will see the car park and the pontoon ahead of you, just to the left of the bridges. Alternatively, there is usually a taxi, opposite the bus stop.

Arriving by train

Although only a limited number of trains stop at Saltash [check the timetable], the station is just a short walk from the river. Outside the station, make your way down the steep road towards the river [about mile]. Walk under both bridges, where there are public toilets; you will see the car park and the pontoon on your right.
